ID office, air cargo and seamless travel – services of Rostock-Laage Airport.
ID office
An airport ID can be applied for by companies based at the airport, companies working on the airport's behalf, airlines operating here and public authorities with sovereign duties.
Required to apply: a completed ID application, a passport photo (not necessarily biometric), a reliability check under § 7 LuftSiG (application form + checklist) and the aviation security training certificate. All forms are available under Downloads. Send documents to ausweisstelle@rostock-airport.de or by post to Flughafen Rostock-Laage, Flughafenstraße 1, 18299 Laage.

Air cargo & special handling
A central location in northern Germany, direct access to motorway and seaport, 24-hour operations and an on-site customs station make Rostock-Laage an ideal location for air cargo and freight forwarders. The airport holds all necessary licences for cargo operations and also carries out special handling.
Seamless Travel
Since 2015 the airport has been part of the cruise business in Rostock-Warnemünde. Together with Costa Crociere a seamless air/cruise product was developed: baggage is tagged at the departure airport and delivered straight to the ship cabin – "off-airport check-in" reduces waiting times at port and airport.
The modern infrastructure and single-source process control won over further shipping lines: alongside Costa, MSC also uses the service. In 2017 over 90,000 cruise passengers used Seamless Travel – and rising.
