For holiday flights, please report to the check-in desk around two hours before departure. For scheduled flights, you should check-in around one hour before departure. Please observe the individual desk closing times of the airlines, e.g. the Eurowings desk closes 30 minutes before departure. The check-in desk is directly in the terminal entrance hall.
Luggage and oversize baggage is 100% security tested. As each airline has its own specific luggage regulations, please consult your travel documentation from your respective airline or at the travel agent to find out about luggage restrictions and the rules for hand luggage. Please let your travel agent or airline know if you have any special or oversize baggage, such as surf boards or bicycles. Prams, bicycles and buggies must be properly packaged for the flight. In order to do this, please read the instructions on your flight ticket or ask your airline/travel agent. When preparing luggage, please bear safety and security in mind!
Our modern ‘Hans von Ohain’ terminal is awaiting your visit! The terminal is open for all departures and arrivals, as well as Monday to Friday 8am to 6pm, at weekends and on public holidays from 10am to 6pm. Rostock-Laage Airport is generally operational 24/7 - with no restrictions.
Our airport information service - your central point of contact for flight schedules, booking flights with Eurowings and Germania, collecting rental cars from Avis, Citycar, Europcar, Hertz and Sixt, information about local taxi companies, hotel reservations, luggage inquiries/lost and found and much more.
In our children’s corner, which was created in cooperation with the ‘Karls Erlebnisdorf’ adventure village in Rövershaven, our small passengers can become pilots. Grandma Frieda’s apple boxes, various bicycle parts, Grandpa Karl’s moped and the old motorboat have been put together for Karl’s children’s adventure aeroplane in the airport waiting area. The pilot takes charge of the levers and buttons and, with the help of the co-pilots and by stepping firmly on the pedals, tests the motor to its limits. While the stabiliser in the rear has to be kept on course, the crew makes sure that the passengers can leave the aircraft via the emergency slide after a crash landing. Have a good trip!
A cash machine (operated by DKB bank) in the terminal has cash ready, which you can withdraw using your EC/debit card or with the most common international credit cards (Eurocard/Mastercard, Visa, American Express).
Access the wireless internet with your laptop. The airport is a T-Mobile HotSpot which provides fast WLAN internet access. You will be able to access your emails and information online, chat and surf just like at home. In the terminal, you will immediately have one hour of free WLAN. You can find further information at www.hotspot.de.
In the airport terminal you will find two travel agents that can advise you about travel and flights from Rostock-Laage.
