  • Oxidizing substances and peroxides, wet cell batteries
  • Poisonous (toxic) and environmentally hazardous substances
  • Radioactive materials and radioactive medications
  • Corrosive liquids and solids

For safety reasons, it is prohibited to keep the following items in your carry-on luggage. They must be always stowed in your checked-in luggage:

All liquids in your hand luggage must be carried in containers of no greater than 100ml capacity. The liquid containers must be stowed in a re-sealable transparent plastic bag not larger than 1 litre (ca. 20 x 20 cm) and must be separately presented to the security check. Liquid medicine and special food (e.g. baby food) to be consumed in-flight is allowed in your carry-on. For further information on safety regulations visit www.lba.de.
As a general rule, the airport cannot assume any liability for articles left behind at security check (e.g. pocket knives, scissors). These items will not be stored. Thank you for your understanding.
