The Rostock Airport was opened in 1992 and is a regional airport in Mecklenburg-Vorpommern. It is located in the northern county Güstrow, between Laage’s districts Kronskamp and Weitendorf and is used for military purposes by the Federal Army and for civilian purposes by Flughafen Rostock-Laage-Güstrow GmbH.
